Meaningful belongings with stories to tell — Old Dimebox

Our Story

Our Story

Inspired by family legacies and the belief that meaningful belongings should continue their stories with those who will appreciate them most.

Old Dimebox was born from a deeply personal place. After the passing of my father and mother-in-law, our family found itself surrounded by a lifetime of belongings — each item carrying memories, stories, and meaning. It felt impossible to simply let those things disappear.

"Meaningful belongings don't end their journey—they continue their story in a new home."

Through working with a reputable, local auction company, we discovered something beautiful: that meaningful belongings continue their journey when placed with people who truly appreciate them, those items continue their stories. A vintage dresser finds a new bedroom. A set of tools finds a new workshop. A piece of jewelry finds a new wrist to wear it.

That experience planted the seed for Old Dimebox. Inspired by our family’s roots in Dimebox, Texas, a place that embodies the spirit of community, history, and things that endure — we set out to do the same for the items we source and sell.

Today, Old Dimebox is a woman-owned resale business based in Harris County, Texas. We source curated secondhand apparel, antiques, furniture, jewelry, home décor, tools, and household goods through auctions, estate sales, and community opportunities. Every item we list has been thoughtfully selected — not just for its value, but for its story.

We are a circular economy company - preserving family legacies and reducing waste by extending the useful life of apparel, furniture, antiques, décor, and household goods. We believe quality items deserve to be used, loved, and passed on — not discarded. And we believe the people who buy them deserve to feel that connection too.

"Preserving memories. Reducing waste. Helping quality items find the homes they deserve."
